Elegant 3 storey building with twin shop-windows on ground floor. This has has several uses in the last 100 years, with a chemists shop being the latest. In the 19th Century, it appears to have been owned by Elias Puleston, previously of Noble Street. and in 1880 as a 'retired maltster' (His son was described as a maltster, so they may have used one of the malthouses in Wem. His name causes confusion, as there was another Elias Puleston who ran a grocer's and drapes shop opposite. Rowlands the Chemists used both this shop and No19 next door as their dispensary until 2018.

Gents,
The correct price for cut Isinglass is 5/- per lb as
stated in ours of the 20th. Some time since we wrote you with
reference to a package deducted by you from our account said to
be returned to Messrs Hornimans & Co.
We have since then applied to Messrs Horniman (three applications
in all) but it is still not to hand. We are surprised at your
treating us in this matter over our supply package and can only
suppose from your taking no notice whatever of our enquiries
respecting it that after crediting yourselves with its value the
matter (as far as you are concerned) ended & that it has never
been returned at all.

		Yours respectfully
			Hanson, Evison & Co.
