Grove House

The Grove was a Black and White House set up a driveway on the west side of the castle mound. At its entrance was a pair of coachmans cottages, now restored. (See photograph) It was, during the 19th century, a private house but became a Girls Boarding School in the 20th century. It was demolished in 1942.
