In 1830, the house and land behind it were owned by Mr Tyrer.It was occupied for most of the early part of the 20th century by a baker and confectioner.
Ellis's ran this and No 12 as a joint enterprise, with a bakers in No 10 and a radio dealers in No 12. After being home to Wem Travel Agents, it was split into 2 small shops
in the early part of the 21st century.
